Today we will make rava dosa.
Rava dosa is very crispy and tasty.
The best thing about making Rava dosa isthat we don’t need to plan beforehand.
Whenever you feel like making it, you can instantly make it and eat it.
Let’s start making Rava Dosa.
Ingredients-
½ cup Rava/Sooji.
½ cup rice flour.
2 tbsp plain flour.
3-4 tbsp oil.
2-3 tbsp chopped green coriander.
2 minced green chillies.
½ tsp ginger paste.
1 pinch Asafoetida.
½ tsp Cumin seeds.
¼ crushed black pepper.
¾ tsp salt (according to your taste).
Firstly, we will mix sooji, rice flour and plain flour and make a batter out of it.
Put rava, rice flour and plain flour in a bowl.
Add 1 cup of water.
Stir until there are no lumps visible and make a smooth batter.
Smooth batter is ready, now add more water.
We want a thin batter for Rava.
Add ½ cup of water and then add the spices.
Green chillies, ginger, green coriander, salt, asafoetida,
crushed black pepper and cumin seeds.
Mix it well and leave it for 10- 15 minutes.
The time is up. The rava is ready.
Now we will make dosa’s.
The consistency of the batter is very smooth and now we will make dosa.
Take a non- stick pan.
Heat it and put some oil and spread it with a napkin.
You can also do it with a cotton cloth.
The pan has heated now. Turn the flame to medium.
Before putting the batter stir it.
because rava sets on the pan.
And then spread the batter in the pan.
We have spread the batter.
Turn the flame high.
And let it fry till its brown.
Put oil around and above the dosa.
The dosa has turned brown now. Now, flip it.
Our dosa is very thin so we don’t need to cook it the other side.
A very nice and crispy dosa is ready.
Take it out carefully in a plate.
Do the same to make another dosa.
Stir the batter again before spreading.
Do the same by spreading it in the pan.
Increase the flame.
Put oil in all four corners.
And let it cook till its golden brown.
In 4-5 minutes our dosa will be ready.
Do the same with each dosa and make it.
A very crispy and tasty Rava dosa is ready.
You can serve it with coriander chutney,fresh mint leaves chutney, or tomato sauce.
We have made this with rava, plain flour and rice flour.
We can also make it by mixing rava and plain flour.Make a batter of it and
then we can also make rava dosa. Or userice flour and plain flour to make it.
You can make rava dosa with any type of flour.
A very tasty and crispy Rava dosa will be ready.
You can make your Rava dosa, eat it and enjoy it.
